My name is Wendy aka Gwendy, Gwen Bartolini vocalist for the alternative metal band Grigori 3. I have always been interested in religions theology and angelogy and latin so much do that it influences my lyrical writing and artwork. I don't think of myself as extremely "religious" and I don't want to become something I am not. I don't believe we should force feed religious beliefs on each other but we should not hush from the subject either. I believe we should be able to talk about other religions ( not taboo) and enlighten others that ask us. I simply wanted to share that fact that I have alot to learn about the bible and for me this is the ideal time to start. I grew up Roman Catholic and learned about the bible early on in life. However at the core of it all (as many others I have talked to) we have not actually read the St. James Holy Bible ( english) cover to cover in order. I know there are other versions and canons out there but I simply want to try to incorporate this version into my reading ( maybe I will add some others later).
As a child I remember reading it in ccd ( also known as catechism) along with other workbooks etc. and in sections but it didnt click togother as day to day reading or chapter after chapter. I tend to skip around and reread pages and chapters (especially Revalations- maybe because of all the mystery and darkness that surrounds it always sucks me in.) So like alot of others that I have spoken with, alot of us seem to miss many of the references, meaning or parables. Long story short I have decided to read the good book cover to cover in order.
I wanted to share this for those that want to tackle it with me you are welcome to chime in or ask questions or just check back and see if I make any points you agree with. I will do my best to help with references etc. I won't be answering any religious questions nor speculating answers for any questions again I am a singer not a theologist nor part of the clergy.

These days there are so many websites that can help us along the way like http://www.online-literature.com/bible/bible.php and audio sites like Librivox https://catalog.librivox.org/search.php?title=&author=King+James+Version&action=Search ( to help listen and follow along) . I have also watched the Charlton Heston dvds ( also on youtube) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vhh3gMsaLSs ( I found the content very interesting and relateable he shows a lot of "present day" location toos, overall I find it uplifting.
Armor of God Word Art
This Armor of God Word Art uses Ephesians 6:10-18 as its foundation.
The phrase "Armor of God" is directly derived from Ephesians 6:11: "Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes".
I understand this is supposed to illustrate how Christians are to become soldiers and prepare themselves for spiritual warfare.
